Welcome
Hi! I’m Dorota.
I come from Poland, but these days I live in Germany.
I’m studying Computer Science at the University of Konstanz and taking part in the “Przyszły Programista” (“The Future Programmer”) project.
I’m especially fascinated by algorithms and interactive systems — I love how they connect logic with creativity.
Before diving into computer science, I studied psychology, which sparked my curiosity about how the human brain works. Neuroscience still feels very close to my heart, and I dream of finding ways to bring these worlds together.
I’m passionate about creating ideas that help people use technology in more natural and meaningful ways.
When I’m not studying or coding, you’ll probably find me out in nature, bouldering, singing, or making art.
My projects
A collection of projects I created during my bachelor’s studies and shortly after graduation.
The program is a console game based on the classic dominoes game. It allows three gameplay options: a game of two people, person with computer or computer with computer.
A project is a console application contact book implemented in C++. It allows users to store and manage personal contact data.
The project is a personal budget management application for tracking income and expenses, categorizing transactions, and generating financial summaries. It’s a console-based application written in C++.
The program is the maze generator in Python. It uses randomized version of the depth-first search algorithm. The game allows for three game modes: human with AI (AI is able to find a way out of the maze by himself using recursive backtracking), human alone, the option in which AI leaves the maze on its own.
The project is a Python program designed to demonstrate how the uABS encoding algorithm works. It allows the user to encode or decode files through a simple graphical interface built with Tkinter and includes automated tests verifying the correctness of the algorithm’s implementation. Developed as part of my Bachelor’s thesis project.
The project is a short animation written in POV-Ray, illustrating the passage of time throughout the day.
The project is a short animation created in Blender. It depicts a cozy house with a fireplace during the Christmas season. The scene represents a world enclosed in a glass snow globe.
The project was written in C++ using the OpenGL and GLUT libraries. It is a simple maze game that the user can navigate by controlling a black pawn with the keyboard. Along the way, the player must also collect donuts. The game ends when the player reaches the finish line.
I participated in a team project coded in Python that simulates an improved version of current parking systems. Our simulation models how autonomous cars search for the nearest available parking spot and demonstrates how such a system could integrate with tools like Google Maps to make parking more efficient.
Database project in MySQL dedicated to managing a psychology office.
